Leigh is right about how to subscribe to a list. Make sure all
commands you send to [log in to unmask] have no subjects, and
the only thing in the body should be "SUBSCRIBE SHODISCUSSION-L"
To sign off of the list-serv there might be multiple commands, but
the one that I know works is again sending an email to
[log in to unmask] with no subject, and the body should only
say:
SIGNOFF SHODISCUSSION-L
and these commands are not case sensitive
