As part of a Digital University project last year with collaboration between
University of Turku, Finland (Tuire Palonen, Koen Veermans), Vrije
Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands (Zuzana Sasovova, Gerhard van de Bunt,
Peter Groenewegen) and Universiteit van Amsterdam, Netherlands (Aljaz Ule,
Karin Pfeffer, Judith Schoonenboom, myself), a series of specialized video
lectures and lab sessions on different topics were produced as follows
(roughly in order of presentation):

* Measuring Social Capital, Michael Woolcock, World Bank
* Interpersonal Relations, Zuzana Sasovova, Vrije Univ.
* Ego-Networks, Steve Borgatti, Univ. Kentucky
* The Individual in SNA, Ajay Mehra, Univ. Kentucky
* Network Interventions and Diffusion, Tom Valente, USC
* Network Experiments, Aljaz Ule, Univ. Amsterdam
* Computational Social Science, David Lazer, Harvard Univ.
* Multi-agent Based Modeling, Laszlo Gulyas, AITIA Inc. & Elenna Dugundji,
Univ. Amsterdam
* Negative Ties, Joe Labianca, Univ. Kentucky
* Network Visualization, Tuire Palonen, Univ. Turku
* MapInfo Lab: Networks Embedded in Space, Karin Pfeffer & Els Veldhuizen,
Univ. Amsterdam
* SIENA Lab: Networks Changing in Time, Gerhard van de Bunt & Maurits de
Klepper, Vrije Univ.
* Pajek Lab: Large Networks, Vlado Batagelj, Univ. Ljubljana

In addition, as part of an earlier phase of the same project, a series of
video lectures have been produced featuring Steve Borgatti explaining
central concepts of social network analysis with an accompanying series of
UCINET lab sessions. These are based on the class MB874 which Steve taught
at Boston College at the time, and was a collaborative effort with Rich de
Jordy & Jegoo Lee at Boston college, Ines Mergel at Harvard Univ. and Long
Tao at Peking Univ.

There are still some technical details to arrange for all good order. It is
the intention to make the videos publicly available in the course of the
coming semester.

Best regards,
Elenna
